The amount of money is tiny and it's a comparatively small number of children compared to all the children alive in the country. Why don't we give the children health care instead of a thousand dollars? That would be so much more valuable and a better investment in the country's future.

I admit, my first thoughts on hearing this were:

1. Who is paying for this? How much corruption is involved? Is it a straight up bribe to the service station chain or are things like pardons involved?

2. Interesting how it is only happening in a swing state and to a lesser extent a possible swing state. Bet it's happening where it's happening in hopes of buying Pennsylvania votes.

3. Gas prices here were just short of $6.00's a gallon last week. Prices here have not been as low as the undiscounted gas prices being reported since the Obama administration. If it were actually about helping people and not political corruption, the discount gas would be in states that actually need it instead of ones where gas is already incredibly cheap.

* Wednesday Techie Millennial came to visit and brought their new harp, which they've been decorating, to play. It was lovely.

After, I was able to walk the kittens, which was a great relief to them, as I hadn't been able to for a little over a week.

(Mondays and Tuesdays I have commitments and there isn't time. Last Wednesday and Sunday, I woke up exhausted and basic maintenance (food for me, cats, fish, etc.) and the clean up of assorted messes took too many spoons and two much time. Friday, Clawdia made that grand gaudy mess, and stripping and washing all the sofa layers meant used all non-maintenance spoons and it was too late to start a walk by the time I was rested.

Today though, when I brought them the harnesses, Clawdia lay good and still like her sister, which really helped as I needed to adjust her harness because she'd grown that much in less than a week and a half. Saffy's rib band was way too small compared to Saffy's current measurement and I suspect she's about to have another growth spirt. This cat is going to be Huge and if it keeps on like this, I may need t switch to a dog harness at some point. O.o Like, this is the largest cat harness they had. There's lots of room still at least.

They are still a little weirded out by permission to go outside. They clearly made the connection between harness and that weird vocalization I make and them getting to go out, and they've been a lot less aggressive about escapes since I started with the leashes. Saffy likely would if I left the door open longer than the dart in and out, but she's no longer dangerously tripping people, which is important as she gets bigger. Clawdia will dart out there, but I catch her quickly more often and when I can't, she comes back on her own pretty soon, I think because it's nowhere near as fun with just her compared to the three of us going out.

This is why I do leash training with escapers. It is harm reduction. Monitored cats poking around the patio and the little bit of path just in front is so much safer for them than darting out between legs every time the door opens. It also gives them a sense of home territory and it's limits, which makes them more likely to be in that general area if they do get out.

The weather was my idea of ideal today, the way it used to be in July before the climate got completely borked. A pleasant degree of warm, with a fresh breeze off the bay to clean the air. The clouds were high and wispy on their journey to the mountains. We were out late enough for the breeze to push out the high afternoon heat, but the sun was still high enough for it to be still afternoon bright.

Perfect temperature, perfect sky, the good scent of basil and tomato leaves, beautiful giant kittens puttering about, or lounging, or playing with leash ends I dangled.

After I unleased them inside, I fed them, then I went and gave Livia her second looooong bed pet of the day, and the kittens turned up to hang out peaceable in a group and have a nap. This i Livia's idea of a perfect evening. (She's known Techie Millenia her whole life. she doesn't mind Techie Millennial seeing her, though as with all guests, she doesn't want to interact, so she mostly stays in her room. Like, given her druthers, she'd rather no visitors ever, but Techie's on the short list of visitors she doesn't particularly mind).

For the record, the fire works were much better this year, compared to usual. We had four total in four days, two very close and loud. Livia hates fireworks, but compared to years where we get a week of them and in larger quantity, this is more tolerable. Like one random loud noise at night will startle her, but is so much easier to recover from than it happening at random over the course of the evening for days. Clawdia ignored them. They were outside, like barking dogs and she was inside. (When they are having leash time and a dog barks, they cluster by the door, hiding behind the screen of plants, but don't go inside). Saffy was a little more sensitive to the noise, but just moved further away from the windows. I've no idea if a bad year will terrorize her as it does Livia, but this year, they all were all right and Livia only had to hide once (from the loudest one right outside the living room window), and she came back out in 10-15 minutes instead of hiding for hours.

* We have been having a lot of little micro outages, which is how I think of power and/or Internet outages that last under a minute. This is normal in the Windy season, aka roughly November- December. (It used to start at some point in October and run into January, but climate change). I live in a wind tunnel and while the city works hard on safe bridges, good roads, enough housing, environmental mitigation, and make sure the water is safe and clean, a lot of other infrastructure is old and needs serious updating and/or replacement. (See also residential water pressure being for shit all over town to varying degrees.) It's more important bridges don't collapse and the aquifers are in good shape and people have somewhere to live. Seriously, I get why the priorities are like this and I trust that when there is more money other important stuff a little lower down the list will be sorted. I get why city council thinks the bridge the school buses drive over is priority one, and why they hoping the electrical infrastructure can hang on another half decade before starting a massive attempt to harden all that against climate change. It's big, it's expensive and we don't want people injured or killed when one bus too many drives over it.

So I live in a wind tunnel and for 2-3 months a year, my lights flicker, and sometimes my internet hiccups and I get kicked off, and sometimes the internet goes out for a few hours or worse if we are unlucky, and we frequently get whole neighborhood blackouts that last for a while an now and again my whole end of town goes black and we are usually last to get fixed so that's 8-12 hours and you have to hope the freezer doesn't melt.

This is not the windy season. Like, we still get the night winds from Alaska and if we are lucky the evening breeze off the bay, but these aren't knock tree branches down winds. The windy season tends to weed out the weak branches and the softer winds the rest of the year aren't usually enough to take out the survivors that are in the process of weakening.

So flickers like this tend to suggest something else wrong in the system. So it was late enough to be Thursday instead of Wednesday, but early enough to still be full dark. (Sun comes up 5AMish this time of year). When the neighborhood went dark without warning, it was late enough for me to go fuck this and shuffle around with a little hand lantern trying not to step on a pair of pocket voids who are milling around in the confusion and unaware I can't see them while I try to remember what was on so I could turn it off and generally get ready for bed. Did a car hit a pole? A transformer blow somewhere? Some crucial part of the electrical system that had been failing slowly the previous few days finally fail? Who knows.

It meant I didn't get to do have the things I'd intended to before bed, including my bath. Sigh.

And Thursday I remembered I needed to buy paper towels before the New Guy arrived to clean, so I had to go out in late afternoon heat and pollen to get them from the part of town that is a heat sink. I arrived back slightly later than intended, and Saffy apparently slipped out into the hallway without me noticing on one of the two trips from the car. (I carried the perishables in to put away, then went to let the New Guy in from the patio, then went back for the paper towels because they don't melt. About fifteen minutes later, the New Guy opens the hallway door so we can take out trash and recycling. Saffy was crouched right outside the door.

The Hall is very boring and contains nothing but ugly carpet and the smell of other peoples cookery. I suspect she figured this out very quickly. It does explained why Clawdia was loitering there to the point I had to pick her up so New Guy could get the dolly out.

I am still behind. Of course I am, but the electricity was entirely stable Thursday evening, so that's progress.

* I had to give up my daily physio after something like five and a half years because I got two sick to continue. I am still waiting to see if the sinus infection is rebounding or if it's allergies, but at the moment, I'm all right if I don't have to stand up or worse move around, so Friday I brought back the lying down exercises. This, plus forage delivery, and a grand gaudy collaborative cat mess in the living room where to many things in terms of time and spoons, so the poor beasties did not get their leash time.

All three furry people got good loves and the like at least. Also, we are on day two of trick training for the kittens. They are doing well, but it'll take a few more days for it to be clear it;'s taken, since the puzzle feeder is the main kitten treat souse. I'm still trying to work with poor Claw Claw on it when her sister is sleeping, because it takes her longer to gallop in and shoulder her sister aside if she's full asleep in my bedroom. we are working on the flip top compartments, but it's really hard, because Clawdia got so good at solving sliding compartments she has trouble not applying the wrong solution to a new problem.

I kept thinking about how many problems in American politics are caused by the same thing and that was also the problem with psychiatry in the 70's and '80's.

I can eventually get her to flip it, if we aren't interrupted by the Queen of the Cats, but she won't try flipping it from scratch. I have to lift it a little and wiggle it over and over before she stops sliding the compartment back and forth frantically and flips it open.

When I went out the hall door to get mall, Saffy nearly went with me, but then she halted and I could see her thinking from the movement of her ears, and then she turned and walked away, disdain in the movement of her tail. Saffy consistently only needs to experience a thing just once to learn from it. She fascinates me.

I don't know where you live, so I can't link this for you, but I find the Progressive Voter Guide online very helpful in narrowing down candidates in the often packed primaries where I live.

I also suggest looking at things like volunteer work and endorsements, because it really, really helps with things like sheriff and judicial elections, but can be useful in all sorts of primaries when you have multiple good options.

REMEMBER: Don't just vote for the big things like US Congress. Vote in every State and local race down to the smallest and on all the referendums.

I can't reiterate enough that person to person transmission rates are low. This is a disease carried by rodents. It is a terrible thing to catch, yes, but the risk for treating them on land is low, especially with proper precautions taken by medical personnel in nice clean rodent free hospitals.

No matter what the AI slop and scaremongers in general say, this is not the next great pandemic. There are small outbreaks every year in areas where it is endemic.

* Monday, I stayed up for errands. My ILL went back with only a few chapters read because it arrived at the same time as the glorious Plague book. I shall order it back, but not just now as both Apparently, Sir Cameron and my returning Plague book arrived last week.

I hit the Co-op on the way back and got a ton of basil (thai and goth. I already have sweet growing.) and some more tomato varietals, all of which are now planted. I am trying rosemary again. Wish me luck, as I have never kept rosemary alive through the fall, though last year wasn't my fault for once. I am endlessly grateful EBT lets me buy starts and seeds. The tomatoes that went in I think it was two weeks ago are growing beautifully. I really need to start eating the lettuce more, and have purchased more burger rolls and tomatoes and veggie patties to put in them to start using the garden lettuce more. If I made a salad, that would be it, but this way they last longer. On my to do list is starting the next lettuce crop. The regular basil is inside. I am checking temp frequently tonight to see if I need to bring the rest of the basil in.

I even remembered the gravy this time and worked out which vegetarian broth has the least salt and bought a couple extra. You'd think this would be easy, but it wasn't. I don't much like salt, as it tends to make me queasy, but it is in nearly everything. (I get cravings when I need sodium and have a small number of foods I like salt on which I eat in those circumstances, but I generally like low or no sodium things best taste wise). The other broths were 15-25% of daily allowance, but I found the one brand at 5%. I feel less stupid for struggling with this now.

In other news, I've been refereed to a foster at the town just north of us for kitteens (Teenaged kittens). This is the best outcome at this point. Two there are significantly cheaper then one in my small city, and the drive is reasonable. I admit I really liked the ones from the place we got Livia, but carrying two kittens for an hour or more over a mountain pass is not ideal. If the place that responded tonight works out, I'm taking those.

UPDATE: I decided to bring them in just to be safe. It's a dangerous undertaking involving a ladder as otherwise Livia will eat them all, but better safe than sorry.

* My body is just being extra awful with the pain and exhaustion, plus bonus allergy stuff. They mowed Monday and my eyes went itchy and painful and the lids swelled up. It was significantly worse with the eye that is always much worse. I spent Tuesday with it swollen half shut and attempting to glue itself together if I left it shut the rest of the way too long. It is hard to do anything with an eye that hurts that much and keeps filming over. I did compresses as one does and the swelling was gone on the left and half the size Wednesday, but also I was exhausted as it had been days at that point since anything like proper sleep in appropriate amounts.

I remain really angry about multiple insurance company scammers phoning me twice a day in hopes of me letting them trick me into fucking up my medicare. We are on the forth script with one of them. The other called when I was at the computer. They are apparently a massive private insurance company that deliberately named themselves so they sound like a non-profit senior advocacy group, the bastards.

I still haven't heard from the foster with the kitteens. Livia's rescue emailed me Thursday. Apparently they'd been texting my landline as no one ever believes one when one says one has a landline and not a cell. They still had five of the seven kittens from January that I'd inquired about. I said my priority was two kittens bonded to each other and I didn't mind that the specific one I'd asked about had been adopted out. She wants to do a phone call interview which is perfect. These kittens are about 50 dollars more for the pair than the teens, plus gas, which would be worth it. The kitten fund has been moved in anticipation, so I can pay up front if they accept us.

I also emailed the kitteen people reminding them that I had a landline and can't receive texts in case this is why the foster hasn't contacted me yet.

I would love if someone phoned me tomorrow. Let us hope.

* Monday was a symphony of frustrations. I also had four separate calls from the insurance company that is trying to fuck up my medicare while I was asleep. They have a lot of auto dialers and no matter how many I block. They are getting desperate. I lost several hours of sleep as a result.

I still had to drag myself out for library. I'd promised myself the special seasonal potato cheddar bread as a treat, but it was sold out.

Came home to find housing threatening bureaucracy in the mail. I really fucking hate that they replaced the perfectly functional automated system at SSI with shitty AI designed to try to force me to use their broken website I can't get into and a cell phone I don't have.

The auto tax bill never came, and I am nearly out of time. They have made paying online impossible and have closed the place I used to go in person to pay. I don't understand why they couldn't A. send the bill in January like usual. B. have a website that lets you log in. Oh there are lots of boxes you can click and type into, but they require you to receive an email to actually log in and they do not send the email. Yes, I checked the spam filter and trash.

* We've been prepping for the annual inspection where they decode if I need a nursing home whether I want to live in one or not. I do not, of course, and I hate it, the intrusion, the inherent initialization. New Millennial was an absolute Superhero with the cleaning, and Techie Millennial was also a help.

Squirrel and I did get trash and recycling out in the middle of the night after the rain stopped. (It was pouring in that soak you in seconds way earlier).

I am exhausted. Was it five phone calls or six today? Two of them were real and important. One was a thing that may actually be a medicare thing, but I don't trust them because they are on that sketchy bubble and won't go off script to answer a simple question. (Sometimes real medicare does that and I once spent months hanging up on a legitimate thing because they were not willing to clearly say who they were and why they were calling and wouldn't go off their long rambly script. So I kept hanging up after two sentences until a supervisor called and said please don't hang up, identified herself clearly and said what she wanted. Just saying). The rest was yet more insurance company scammers. I have added a third voice to the list of ones that have been harassing me often multiple times a day for over a month. (Insurance Companies can afford a LOT of autodialers and tricking the elderly is a lucrative business). Luckily, the new one has a distinctive voice, so it should speed up the hang up and block the number process. (The other two are local accented white lady voices with very common pitch and delivery for around here. I learned to distinguish them mostly because one was and asshole and the other easy to discourage.) I also got one with a different voice and trying to trick you sales pitch, but the scam was obvious enough I could hang up and block one sentence in. Her voice was also distinctive, which will make the hang up and block process faster. I wonder if this is a different insurance company also trying to scam seniors or the first company trying out a different script. Sigh.

And then there was physio and cleaning and starting the stupid housing bureaucracy paperwork. (I was too tired to tackle the complicated second page directions, but I have Squirrel started on getting their documentation, so setting it aside for when my brain wasn't mush made more sense, since neither their documentation nor mine will be ready until likely next week). Then more cleaning, including futzing with the fish tanks so I could get the filter parts off the table ahead of inspection. The filter for the 20 gallon is kaput, which is not a surprise given its age and the fragility of filter propellers. (I miss when I could just switch them for one salvaged from another with a dead motor, but that company went out of business ages ago). At least the 50 has the filter back in after a cleaning. The tanks really need changing and I need to move some plants from the 50 to the twenty, but at least this is progress. Both tanks are dirt (not stones), with air pump and live plants. Going an extra week without a change will be okay. I just could not be hauling that much water around and be dealing with all this cleaning this past week and physio and at least three extremely low spoon days. I did at least top them off a couple days ago, and pop in a little extra stability.

All of this would be so much easier if people would just let me sleep instead of constantly trying to trick and/or threaten me into fucking up my Medicare for their profit.

As I wrote this it was less than too hours until inspection Thursday morning and I mostly just want to go to bed, but I can not, especially as I should really try to sort out the car tax thing after inspection because truncated ours. Sigh.

* The nurse practitioner/ inspector was about 4 hours late without calling.

When they were half an hour late, i did lungs. When they were more than an hour late I brushed my teeth and went to bed in my clothes, on the grounds that she might turn up. My money was on reschedule, but I hate keeping someone waiting while I try to scramble into my clothes.

Livia was already warey because all the intensive clening,buclothes in bed is a dead give away, and she is a clever girl and keen observer of human behavior. She was up and checking the window, ready to run for herhide at every odd sound from ouside or upstairs. I couldn't sleep anyway between this and phone scammers.

Nurse/inspector called I think 11:24AM, asked if she could come in 15 minutes. I said yes. My day was blown anyway, and we'd just have to clean all over on a reschedule. People are often late here because they can't find close parking or thy pick the wrong building. The buzzer doesn't always work, so some people do not come unless they have sense to call us. This late, I suspected a medical emergency at whoever her first visit was with. This was correct. I did not ask if she shipped her lunch break to squeeze me in, but I don't doubt she did.

I was grateful to be squeezed in and not mad at all. Someone could have died if she hadn't sorted it and it was exactly the sort of situation you can't leave until everything is stabilized and care is passed on to someone else. Like I said, I'd guessed something like this was what was going on and I don't waste angry in the absence of Malicious. I definitely don't get at angry about Kind and at no point did I think I'd been blown off without cause.

The upshot is I was too tired to be driving downtown for car tax crap I didn't get to bed until nearly one and have had Not Remotely enough sleep. I have massive headache and I am not enough butter on too much bread.

She was nice though. She skipped the cognitive exam, "You are intelligent, cheerful, and clearly your memory is fine."

Squirrel is now in a battle with the people doing the partial pay for work related injury time people to get the stupid piece of paper we need for the Housing Bureaucracy stuff, but they ae being diligent about it.

* Friday, I stayed up to do the car tax thing. Disabled parking was full, so it went from a walk the length of the building situation to most of a mile each way walking. I couldn't breath and I very nearly collapsed. So I'm laid up from that.

I don't know where you live, so I can't link this for you, but I find the Progressive Voter Guide online very helpful in narrowing down candidates in the often packed primaries where I live.

I also suggest looking at things like volunteer work and endorsements, because it really, really helps with things like sheriff and judicial elections, but can be useful in all sorts of primaries when you have multiple good options.

* I woke up with basically no spoons Friday. We are talking it took me seven hours of effort to make it into the living room to eat bread slices and dried fruit and hydrate because I couldn't handle even boiling water for soup cups. It took another most of two hours to make it to the desk from the sofa for more hydration before going back bed. Hence very little that wasn't pre-programmed getting done.

I feel like a slacker taking two days off from physio, but it was pretty clear I could do things like make food or do physio Saturday and not both.

* Low sleep quality again Saturday. Livia and I did a lot of reading in bed (with pets). When I reached for the remote above my head to turn the TV on for physio time it fell between the pillows and the headboard, which is a problem because periodic pushing of the mattress back against the headboard requires me moving all the pillows and things off the bed because the extra weight makes it impossible. Anything to do with the mattress is a spoon devouring nightmare. I have no help for changing bedding and it's really a two person job because of the weight of the mattress. The result is, there is currently more space than I like between headboard and mattress.

When I tried to rescue it, it slid further down behind the pillows. Moving is always a risk in this situation, but there was nothing forward. I heard the tell take sound of it hitting the floor the moment I moved to try to get a better grip.

There was nothing for it. Everything had to come off the bed and I was going to have to try to shift the mattress myself. Worse, I had no one with longer arms, so I was going to have to get a dustpan between the slats, awkwardly try to sweep things into it without losing my grip, pick everything out of the dustpan, then pull the dustpan out. More things inevitably fell into the crack of doom during the process, compounding the problem. Sigh.

I had been doing a good job holding the crack closed, as there were only three things in there besides the escaped remote that had fallen from the shelf before I started knocking more things into the hole, plus a small collection of medical packaging. Go me!

I still had to change the fitted sheet as I'd gone this far, which is really right at the edge of possible for my shoulder joints. Then pull more things that had fallen into the crack of doom. Then try to force the mattress back into place alone. Then put everything back. I never really get everything back, small things get misplaced and must be found later.

Even with several hours of rest including two naps and lots of pettins, it took another couple hours for half assed physio, and I keep getting the shakes.

There were all these other things I needed to to today, but likely I'd already eaten a bunch of tomorrow's spoons. Sigh. At least there are clean sheets.

* Monday, I noticed the early stages of an eye infection. My car can't make the distance to the next town where there were appointments open, but they found me one Tuesday. I dropped off library books after and tried to hit the discount grocery in search of five things it turned out they were out of. I did get my second choice for one of them, which wasn't a hardship as both are things I buy on the regular; I was just more in the mood for the other. There were no mushrooms or bags of frozen broccoli. The other two things? Sigh. One they only had a tiny over priced side dish version from another brand instead of two full meals worth from the good brand, so I passed. The other, I got the smallest I could find of a different brand and flavour to test instead of what I actually wanted.

I had started lunch and was putting my meager purchases away, when squirrel appeared, trying to work out how we were going to take the trash out. I proposed once again that we just put the whole thing can and all on the dolly and take it out to the dumpster together that way. We have two working arms between us and it would be a lot easier to each take a handle a dump the tied off bag that way, letting gravity do most of the work, then take the can and dolly back where they go. Squirrel gave in and while it was still annoying, it was far better than any of the alternatives.

I then needed to lie down because I was already pretty much at the end on hobbling about without a really long rest. I did lungs, had lunch, rested a whole bunch more. I did eventually manage a few small household tasks between rests, but I just feel like too little butter on too much bread.

Really, I need to finish putting things away from all the displacement. Really, I need to try the reorganization in the garden, as it will help when planting time comes. These are big exhausting things and one of them, I am not convinced I can do even sitting down and using my feet, but I can't know for sure until I move the rack and give it a try. If it does work, it will take better advantage of the extra sun we have since they pulled the massive bush out and will also give me better access to the far tomato planters.

* Thursday was exhausting and full of too many things and I made two key errors that fucked some things up. All this, plus my ankle kept disjointing, jointing, disjointing, joining so many times I lost count as I slogged painfully about trying and mostly failing to achieve essential tasks. Bonus: Physio tomorrow at entirely The Wrong Time.

* I did make it to physio Friday. My ankle was still bad, but properly in it's socket, which is important as we added a bunch of standing stuff. (Ugh.) We also upgrading a lying down and the sitting exercise. At check in, I saw one of the arm guys and said high. Later on the leg physio mentioned she'd spoken to him about me before we started and he said I was a really hard worker, which is nice to hear.

I made it home and had to lie down for a good long while before making food. Then I did lungs and had another long lie down before sorting forage. When I got up to put forage away, I discovered my legs were just DONE. It would have been a brilliant day to own one of those little lightweight indoor electric chairs. Instead I had a really scary trip to my room for pettins alternating with cuddle naps with Livia for most of the afternoon.

I did eventually make it back out to put away the perishable forage, feed and water Livia and the fish, etc., but it's just really bad tonight. At some point I will have to make more food. *shudder*

I had hoped to do a Friday morning aggregate, but I was just too tired to manage it, which sucks as there are multiple congressional action items it would have been better to start on before the recess.

* I had food poisoning, but have recovered. It's been so cold here I had to scrape my car for a library run a little before ten the other day. I hope my perennials survive, as it usually isn't this kind of prolonged cold here in our weird little micro-climate.

Monday, I had the dentist. I cleverly left a lot of extra time to scrape as it was extremely cold all night still, but it wasn't as bad, particularly inside the windows, so possibly I am making headway on the damage from the incompetent thieves letting it rain inside the car. (It is way harder to get the inside ice off).

It seems the fillings that crumbled during the trying to weather strip the window in the rain emergency aren't high risk for real damage, though they do need mending, which is scheduled. I've a not covered previously scheduled cleaning coming up. February is going to be a bear financially for all the usual reasons, but that's a next month problem and I'm in the danger zone on my teeth now. (My dad's family had genetically bad teeth caused by naturally thin enamel, plus he and my mom had bad born during WWII teeth which is a thing caused by uneven nutrition due to shortages in an era before fluoride). I've seen how bad and labour intensive Periodontal disease can get in my dad's case. (Yes we all brushed and flossed and got regular check ups and cleaning, but I basically couldn't afford it after the one poverty place closed for half a decade as an adult before poverty clinic opened to all their medical patients, and my teeth have never really recovered). so I need to cover sliding scale cleaning, plus housing tax, plus car tax, which usually is January, but the bill is late. I am fascinated to see how I juggle it all.

My sliding scale lapsed, so I drove home and got the essential paper to make that happen, got gas, then drove back to turn it in, dropped off the weekend library books as it's right there, stopped at the pharmacy. I dragged home bedraggled and exhausted and over heated as I was dressed for the finger freezing cold of morning, but the cold font noticeably moved on between 8 and 9AM. Finally.

I should definitely not been spending money, but I gave in and bought a thing I'm hoping will help with the inside the car damp on the way home because it's really concerning and interfering with safe driving. We'll see.

Physio is still hogging all the spoons, so if I have to do anything much else it really lays me up. Between assorted errands and food poisoning and having to function outside in the cold, I just keep falling asleep and needing to lie still a lot when awake. Hence me not managing a Monday aggregate and the now massive backlog of news I didn't get to last week. Sorry.
