* I just figured out where the missing money went. I had to get my meds out of hock at the pharmacy before they went away and the credit card payment was slow to clear, plus cat food and litter. That is significantly less alarming than it just disappearing.
* How Geeky am I? I got excited at the start of Wolf Hall when I realized "Ah Robin, Gentle Robin" was the theme song. Actual period appropriate music instead of jarring modern impositions! And one so instantly recognizable by an English composer. I've only seen the first episode, and they don't seem to be using other music, but how cool would it be if they fit one of Henry's compositions in there? I think I would lose my shit if they played "Pastyme With Good Companye," for example. Look, I said I was a Geek, okay?
My Dad and I used to sing that in the car on the way to school in the morning.
This "Ah Robin" arrangement is very close to the version I grew up with and this song was one of the reasons my Dad wished he had the money for vocal lessons to train up to a counter tenor. (He had a good upper range, but needed training to be able to make use of it):
