* I completely borked my left hip and leg trying to sleep in the one position my back injury allowed and so got very little quality sleep. I was feeling better in Thursday afternoon and went to bed, expecting to sleep all evening. I did get a few good hours of sleep, but was wakened by the unexpected arrival of Tavy's rescue humans and long time friends stopping by. We had a good dinner at the Szechuan place Skye and I used to love, and hung out. They did get a look at Tavy, but he didn't remember them enough to want to interact, alas. It was a good evening.
* I have become weirdly attached to French Eventing Rider Lt. Col. Thibaut Vallette. Karim is prettier, but Monsieur Vallette rode well and seems like he ought to be a character in a George Sand novel.
