45 is praising Putin's invasion of Ukraine yesterday and saying we should invade Mexico the same way. Meanwhile Republicans are insisting,that 45 being Putin's lap dog would somehow have deterred Putin's invasion. I would argue that 45′s extreme submission to Putin and his deliberate weakening of NATO played a role in encouraging this.

A lot of this is stuff I remember from growing up. We’d pass the kiosk thingies for flight insurance, but my mom said they were scams since we already had life insurance. I never noticed they were gone. O.o

More seriously, that thing where people would randomly get sucked out of planes? That was deadly serious and it’s why I called that Republican who wanted to open the airplane door mid flight to publicize his anti-vax lies a terrorist. People for real could have died. not just him, but the flight attendant who was near enough to grab him and people in nearby seats.

It’s also one of many, many reasons I take safety regulations seriously. Government regulations are written in blood. They exist because people were hurt or killed. Regulations exist to protect consumers from Capitalist Corporations. When Republicans call for deregulation, this is the kind of thing they want to go back to.
