* My suspicion as to the expense of fixing the car is correct. The estimate from Honest Mechanic is 400-500.00 depending on how long it takes to take apart and reassemble. We have an appointment for Wednesday and I hope to forage while it's going on, as they are back to back.

* It's looking likely I'll be sacrificing my meds to buy Squirrel's as he Can't go without safely and there is a chance the car will take everything he has, and I have enough back up to likely carry me through. A lot depends on where on the 400-500 scale the car comes to. 500.00 is his ceiling and I have the car insurance auto payment and meds money left, plus a little earmarked for a bill I was going to have to not pay any way this month, so I can toss it in instead of putting in a partial payment. Which means electrical and Internet don't get paid, but I'll have a car that works in the day time. We are lucky as fuck squirrel hadn't paid electric yet, as rent and first bill go out of my account first week of the month.
