* According to the media, $19,000 a year is "lavish" and that it's fair for Detroit pensioners to get $1,900 a year instead to live on. Remember, contracts for bonuses for the extremely wealthy people who crashed the economy are sacred; contracts with people who worked hard for their money are not. Remember the math on this one when you hear newscasters with large salaries demonizing innocent working class people who are being defrauded here.
