Tavy Baby came out of his room and let today's visitor pet him in the living room. He's been letting them come in and pet him on his bed briefly since fall, but coming out and sniffing the only Tavy approved visitor's stuff and getting brief pettins and play is huge for him. This is the only person who doesn't live here he will allow near him. LM was more social than she's been in years and got pettins twice. She usually just likes to periodically wander through and check out guests, but prefers not to directly interact. This time she wanted the pettins. My friend got footage which I hope to post at some later date.

Oh, and the fish store survived! The Herald fucked up when they reported it gutted. They gave water and electrical damage, but most of the fish survived because the firewall held. It looks like the store next door lost some birds and others are in fragile health from respiratory damage, so there are more avian casualties, but most of the living things in the fire are still living.
