gwydion* I Today I did errands, walked the cats, then settled in to make a tofurkey roast. I was all ready to put it in the oven, when I discovered I hadn't enough foil. Doh! I managed to get out to the store and back before squirrel needed his car for social stuff. My meds got rearranged this week in a way that makes everything a little simpler. I'm more than a month in on a drug dispute with insurance over anther of my pills, and my horded bottle ran out two days ago. This would have been catastrophic a week ago, but my ulcer's improving a bit. It'd be better to have it, but I'll likely be okay until it gets sorted.
* I understand both sides of the bin Laden photo debate. I'm glad it's not my decision, honestly. I suspect this is a no right answer situation, but I think the President is making the best out of doubtful choices, especially given the history of previous such releases of photos.
* Rumor control: Some news sources were saying that Members of Congress have seen the photos, but it's been debunked as an error.
* I got a letter asking me to prove my autoimmune disorder is not related to a car accident. O.o This is more amusing than them requiring me to prove there was no car accident in my kitchen, leading to second degree burns a couple of years ago. Car accidents are not known as a standard cause for genetic disorders.
* Today, Republicans voted to raise taxes on abortion. How does this fit with small government, lower taxes and job creation again? Because it looks pretty opposite of their stated agenda.
* I know beige/champagne/sand/etc. is in, but it's booooring.
* I have to give them credit for using Gaga's Teeth for advertising that Alligator show. O.o
* Is it just me, or does the new lady on Criminal Minds have a sort of Starling from Silence of the Lambs vibe? Also, if I were attracted to either Hotch or Rossi, I suspect I'd be shipping them now. Alas, I'm not.
