* The fever and shakes are really bad right now, but I did manage to score the antibiotics and am hoping tomorrow will be better. I also managed a rough sort of the key document pile, with the close cull to come later, so I'm calling today a win even though my body is scary out of control at the moment.

* While first episode of BrainDead was hard to watch because the politics were a little too real, it has turned out to be exactly my sort of satire. It is a shockingly deft mix of the very silly and an Onioneque skewering of DC with the occasional exploding head tossed in. It is not for people with insect phobias though, so YMMV.
* I just hooked a friend on Black Sails recently and invited her to peruse, "My increasingly Byzantine exegesis." Apparently, this is a thing I say to other human beings now.
