gwydion* Proof I am not a proper adult #10: I hear "hostile actors" and I picture a troop of really angry improve players or possibly murderous mimes instead of hackers sponsored by enemy countries.
* In Baton Rouge, white policemen held down and executed an African American man in front of a convenience store. There are two camera angles on the murder. As is my practice, I do not post footage of murders in this space, but footage of the murder with the shots at the end excised are easily available from news outlets if you feel you need to see it. Alton Sterling was 37 and had a 5 children. Local officials have ceded jurisdiction to the feds. Protests have been ongoing today and yesterday.
Police are claiming that the body cameras of both murderers were "dislodged." Riiiiight.
By the way, there is footage of the murder available to prosecutors because two citizens filmed the murder. If you see something and have a phone, please film it.

* I spent the rest of the discretionary money on small toys for Tavy's puzzle box. He's been happily fishing his new donkey and small mice out to play with off and on since. The other items have been less successful. I'll likely need to save up for another toy run next moth. Update: In the wee hours of the morning he figured out how to liberate the springy toys. That just leaves the dental treats. I'm so proud of him learning a new skill in about 10 hours.
I got confused and missed the Doctor yesterday, so it's another week of struggling for breath, and a month and a half of walking on the foot splinter. One of the lilies that is larger than I am has started blooming, but it's only two of them, so I can't do cuttings.
