gwydion* A Canadian born recent convert to Islam with a decade long pre-conversion criminal record attacked the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa. He was killed in the act.
Before that he killed soldier guarding the war memorial.
Three others were wounded in the fighting.
Two days ago, another recent convert hit and run killed another soldier and was shot by authorities in Quebec.
There is footage of the parliament attack, and no, I'm not posting it. I don't see how that does any good for people.
* A man jumped at the White House and was taken down by two dogs. He is injured.
* In Beijing, they have been rounding up anti-corruption protesters and busing them to jail.
* Remarks by an official that poor people shouldn't be allowed to vote in Hong Kong have not been well received by protesters.
* Both the NBC Cameraman and the second nurse are officially virus free, though the nurse is still in treatment. The British nurse who has recovered ebola is back in Africa fighting the disease.
* There are plan to collect survivor serum so that patients in Africa will have better chances of survival. It is horrifying to me that it's taken most of a year to start doing this for African patients.

* Today was bad. Sick or not, I had to go foraging. It was pissing rain and I got soaked through from sitting on the ground in the rain for an hour. It took an hour and 45 minutes total, and I still had to put forage away. I am exhausted and shaky as fuck. I am still coughing up goo, but my sinuses are clearing and he fever is lower. I keep falling over. Apologies if posting quality is crap.
