gwydion* There is a volcano erupting in Iceland. They were expecting one. They are hoping it will bleed off some of the pressure, as there is a worry that a worse one might be in the offing.
* Liberia is having to reuse disposable containment equipment as they haven't nearly enough, pretty much guaranteeing that even more health care workers are going to get infected. It's thought it would cost more than 5 billion dollars to bring the epidemic under control my year end. Ivory Coast has started running ebola drills at hospitals and health care centers. They sensibly closed their borders with infected countries very early and have no cases yet.
* A win for the Good Guys! Market Basket Employees got the good CEO back. They beat the Vulture capitalists back!

* I had a super low mobility day Thursday, not all that surprising after the tantrum my body started throwing the evening before. I got nothing much done. Apologies. I did make promised lavender cupcakes for the wedding at least.
* Why does Jack Links Jerky think putting chest bursters in their ads will make people want to eat their food?
