* Rule of Three Time: For the usage of a slur to be reclaiming 1 You must be a member of the community. 2 The usage must be positive.

Cis Gay Men like Ru Paul and Christian Siriano using "Tranny" and "she male" as an insult is not reclaiming. It is making things worse, especially since ignorant straight people think using dehumanizing transphobic slurs must be okay because they see gay men using them and wrongly assume that they must be experts on all things LGBT.

* Today I took Squirrel and Djinni to Costco and reorganized some stuff in the kitchen in the hopes of making room for Gran's wedding china.

* I planned never to play a public MUSH again, but some of my friends inherited a Westeros MUSH taking place well before GoT, and I have an idea of something I'd like to do. I have friends there, and I'm guessing they won't piss on me the way I'm used to being pissed on by Public MUSH staff. *Hangs Head* I'm floating a background for what I hope will be an interesting background to see if they'll bite. There is no way I can do the sort of on all the time in the background play I used to, but as my Tuesday game is dying, I am thinking I could do a couple of days a week to see if I like it. *fingers crossed*

Biff's origin was distracting to me, though very appropriate. I kept wondering which Prep School he went to. Episcopal? Haverford? Malvern? I kept picturing him being a dick in all those familiar locations. (They moved my school to a new location, and I only went to one of these, but I ran multiple times every season at all the schools in the league, and in Fall we saw a lot of the campuses since Cross Country is like that. I have particular vivid memories of away meets at the Haverford Campus in Autumn with all the bright leaves underfoot. As a result, I have all sorts of memories and images to set him in, even if the current campus isn't the one he was on). Anyway, he'd have fit in perfectly with the mainline douches I went to school with. If Biff went to my school, no way was that the first time he went head first into the trash.

Quinn's costuming this episode was absolutely perfect, BTW, and her toying with the pearls... Oh Quinn, don't do this to yourself, please please, don't do this to yourself. I know you think this is what you want, but Mainline boys and that whole Philadelphia old money life style will kill you. Again, this is so very right given her arc, her aspirations, the way she measures and mismeasures her own worth, and the sort of prices paid and continues to pay to get out of Lima. I winced for her, I shuddered for her. Trust me, the price is way to high. This is what my Father wanted for me, you know. He had it all planned out: Scholarship to prep school where I'd make good connections and maybe eventually marry into old money, an Ivy League College and eventually Law or Med School. I could not covey to him what that life trajectory would cost me and that the price was way, way too high, something I could never pay. I'm glad that's not her fairyland at the end.

When Santana interrupts Puck for an Intervention, I almost yelled, "But Puck is staging an Intervention already!"

I would have voted for Mercedes in the Diva off, as beautiful as the other performances were.

Why did no one vote for Kurt in the Diva off? He was beautiful, and what happened to his role when it comes to death and mourning? They are mourning the Glee Club, but he got pushed to the back.

I am assuming Shue fixed the Diva off, because he totally would. The Competition stuff felt... unfinished and that did not help.

I had not expected to see Puck again after he rode into the sunset, but he's still one of my favorites and it needed to be him talking to Quinn.

I've been missing Brittany desperately all year. Seeing what college did to her was making me sad. I really am glad Santana intervened. I suspect it made her really sad too. I did like their scenes and the realistic kiss at the end.

I am glad they acknowledged Finn, but didn't let grief derail the other things needing doing arc wise. He seemed the right level of present in his absence.

I love Mercedes. I love Mercedes so much.

Holly Holiday. *facepalm* She is terrible in a completely different way than Shu and makes my retired teacher head hurt about as much.

Puck: You're the only one you've ever been honest with.
Ouch!
