* I got a live person calling Pennsylvania today without a wait. There is a document hunt in my near future, but I'm not attempting it until some of the other stuff is cleared up. I got ready for bed, guessing it might be a bit before the Title Lady called. Mache and I had just gotten cuddled up when she called. I count this to the good as I'd rather got out and do all my bureaucracy before sleep. I signed a bunch of papers, got a certified check from my bank, and now the money's in escrow awaiting a bit of paper from Bank of Evil and the signatures of the poor bastard who's selling. I ate, dropped books at the library, gave a foreign gentleman directions to the Interstate, sorted out Social Security, and picked up some things from the grocery across the street from the feds. My right leg started giving out round about breakfast and the resulting agony was impressive. I got home to find more paperwork needing signing downtown. The lady says it can wait until I go in for closing signatures. This is good, as I really need to lie down. I'm typing this up waiting for the meds to kick in so I can make it to bed.
I am now straightened out gender wise with the feds. Three down and two to go document wise. Birth certificate stuff is on order, and I still need a passport so I can go to Vancouver when I like.
Greenwick is coming later to help with the cleaning, for which I am grateful as I'm useless in my current state.
