* My body really didn't want to go out today. My legs were really bad and the horrible stairs nearly took me out. Three things absolutely needed doing, so I went anyway. Picture the following with my joints on fire and my legs randomly malfunctioning. Also, the heat is ratcheting back up, but I had to wear office casual. Ugh.
Today's papers needing signing were mostly disclaimers, promises I'm not about to commit fraud, and a thing saying the apartment comes as is and they will vacate by the day after final signing. No biggie, but I had to stand up for reading the legalese. Then on to the library. I was supposed to go to the Post Office, which was on the way home, but was actually parked before I remembered. We were on empty at this point and I was not sanguine that I could manage another loop without more. So, gas station, then a loop up to the Post Office with the much longer lines since it's near the super market where I get the cats their goosh. The line was not only bad, but Christmas mailing rush bad. I remembered there was a thing for God Will in the trunk which is in the same strip mall as the store, so I did that, picked up goosh and some perishables and nuts for me. This was pretty much all the spoons which triple sucks as perishables needed putting away and there was no choice but to start the bureaucracy packet today as I like a couple days wiggle to get Squirrel's signatures and make sure I have all the documents and I'm almost at deadline. Luckily, I picked up some key documents last week or the week before and I've taken to keeping key bits of paper in my back pack because I have to do this crap so often these days. It's still nightmarish and I need to get more documents when I go to the Doctor tomorrow.
That's right, it's an early sleep eating doctor's appointment tomorrow to get them to look at the sleep stealing talk and prod at a wound that isn't healing. If my bureaucracy is finished by then, I can just drop it all off, hence saving more hassle. If my legs are this shaky today, how will they be tomorrow? No matter how shaky, Squirrel and I also need to meet the Realtor for inspection at the new place tomorrow afternoon, at which point, there are supposed to be documents for the HOA rules that will let me know how much hassle there were be about my fondness for Halloween decorations, planters, and the like.
I just want a shower and some sleep.
UPDATE: I still need Squirrel to fill out his bits and I'm going to have to get documents at two stops tomorrow, but the rest is done. Sigh.
