* Debunking the Texas "Jars of Feces."

* Protests against Racism and "Stand Your Ground" laws continue. Rightly so.

* Thanks to the repeated Republican attacks on women's health care in Texas, not only are many women losing all access to health care of any kind, but people have already been driven to unmonitored and dangerous chemical abortions. The coat hangers are coming back and likely the deaths will start soon.

Republicans hate women so much they want them to die either from untreated breast and cervical cancer or from complications of abortion. "Pro-Life" my ass.

* Round up of the basic rights Health Care Provides and women lost this week, including first amendment rights, apparently:

I repeat, people are going to literally die because of some of these.

* It's been meltingly hot all week. The poor wee beasties have been spending most of their time reenacting Persistence of a Vision with themselves playing the melted watches. Poor Mache really only wants to nap in the mesting box. In the brief periods when things are a bit cooler, the three of them try to cram in all the pettins they can.

* One of the advantages to us moving to somewhere so close is it's way easier to move fish tanks short distances than large ones.

* Things I like least about the new place: Refrigerator too small, patio too small with not much room for the plants just generally, and living room too small.

* Note to self: It turns out organic ketchup tastes like ten times better than the overly sweet and funky tasting brand names. I am suspecting the ketchup I liked several months ago to the point all other ketchup disappoints was also organic. I really need to pay better attention to brands.

Congratulations on finding a new place. Blue's my favourite colour for walls.

We're leaning towards something in the periwinkle range.

Not really, but I think it's slightly better than what we have now.
