* There have been massive protests in São Paulo Brazil over a transit rate hike. It just turned violent when the police tried to disburse them with tear gas and ribber bullets. At least 55 people are injured and 60 arrested during the police violence. Two journalists were among those shot and arrested by police.

* I should probably say something about the Iranian election. They had it fixed so only right wing candidates could run, but one of the guys they cleared for the ballot came out as a moderate once it was to late to stop him, so the reformists are backing him. The result is the election is significantly more interesting than expected. No one knows what is going to happen. Who will win? Will there be a fixed election? Will their be prtests and/or violence? *fingers crossed for progress*

* They held a silent vigil for the dead protesters in Gezi Park during the night. Prime Minister has agreed to suspend development in the park until the judiciary rules.

* The Supreme Court, in a rare moment of common sense, unanimously rule you can't patent DNA you find in nature (the human body, etc..). It is irrational to let a company patent parts of people's body and bad for science. It is a huge victory for people with cancer as it makes it legal for them to get a second opinion.

* RP tonight: Chimage edition Reasoning that the best place to find giant wingless dragons (T. Rex) so as to rip a tooth bloody from one's mouth would be the plains rather than the forests, they traveled down river for a while, hunting and fishing as they went. Eventually, they found a lake near the edge of the plains. this looked like a good place to hunt apex predators, so they were talking about camping, when sharp eyed party members spotted a pack of garou in the trees, clearly staking out the same lake. They started to leave. The garou started following them. Then the ground started rumbling rhythmically. The crow went to see what was causing it, in the hope it was a T. Rex. It was worse, so much worse. Was a terrifying black unicorn, coming their way. The crow flew back to warn the party. Meanwhile, the Garou had made it to hailing distance and introduced themselves. It turned out they were also hunting a "giant wingless dragon tooth." In their case it was for a fetish to "fight a terrible monster." The groups agreed to work together and the Garou flankers came out of the trees. The crow arrived to give the alarm. However, our guys also needed some hair from the tail of the unicorn. The crow flew really high, I suspected in preparation for stealing tail hair. Instead, the Tiger spoke to the Unicorn, and she turned out to be intelligent and interested in justice and healing the earth. The Tiger unwittingly gave the perfect pitch to attract the favour of unicorns. It turned out this was a sacred lake and killing was forbidden here They promised to kill nothing sentient in exchange for no killing anything sentient until the Galliard moon came again. The black unicorn called her mate and Unicorn came out. They got zir hairs for the potion as well as a gift of some of Black Unicorn's as a bonus. They got directions to a lake that wasn't sacred, also near the edge of the forest and went there to hunt dinosaurs.

Runs with Knives and Sleeps with Fishes helped the bear fish while Bozo of the March, Stares at Lake, and Marigold Sharp Tooth stood watch. The Crow flew up and summoned a T. Rex. They got a juvenile, the terms of the summoning were friendly. They talked the Garou into not attacking. They seemed a bit bummed about not getting to go dragon hunting, but the Tiger promised them they'd all go hunting dinosaurs later. Later turned out to be sooner as the Wingless Dragon was willing to trade two teeth for all those fish, plus twice as much fish, plus two of those things, those things being stegosaurs. The Tiger and the Garou went hunting stragglers while the bear went fishing. Later there was a feast of fish and stegosaur meat with dancing (drum and flute). After the feast the tiger and crow made potion with the mice giving advice. They decanted it, and the Bear fell asleep and started fading as did some of the Garou. They warned the Garou about the fading and not to drink the potion. The Crow and Tiger went to sleep. They all slipped across into the Dream Realm where the lake became a desert oasis. Their they met a handsome North African gentleman in flowing multicolor robes and a white, short hair cat. The man welcomed them "to the Crossroads" and offered them coffee. The Crow cleverly asked the price and he said they wanted the tasty morseld, meaning the mice. The mice were understandably terrified, but the party kept their promise to protect their small passengers. The cat promptly went over to beg the Bear for mice. The Crow got the Tiger to give her one of the unicorn tail hairs and turned her back to them all. The little cat came to check out what she was doing and discovered she had something hidden in her hands. She pawed gently at the hand. Once she had both visitors' attention, she revealed... A tiny bell on a unicorn hair string. The Tiger and the visitors got super excited. The man tried to hold out, but soon he and the cat were rolling about making fools of themselves for the string. "I have to have that thing!" They traded passage to the tree for that shiny thing. They then had coffee to seal the deal.
