On the '10 weapons' thing, the only one that surprised me at all was the grenade launcher (and since grenades for the grenade launcher /are/ illegal, there's little use to that). I was actually fully aware that the rest of those were legal. I'm not sure what hole in the ground the person who wrote that article has been living in that they needed to do research to realize that all of those were legal. (Also, flame throwers actually have several practical uses, which is part of why they're legal. As do spear guns.)
