Mar. 31st, 2013 12:05 am* Reagan's Welfare Queens were and are completely imaginary, but corporate welfare continues to destroy our country:
* Rich people with desk jobs are whining about people doing hard manual labour in jobs with no help insurance becoming disabled.:
* We continue to fuck over veterans, just like we have my whole life or longer.
* Governor Ultrasound renews the Republican attack on the right to vote:

* Greenwick found, a Ted Talk for those who've been bullied: http://www.ted.com/talks/shane_koyczan_to_this_day_for_the_bullied_and_beautiful.html
* You what I want to see? A movie with Eamon Walker and Idris Elba in some sort of epic struggle with each other.
* I know it sounds like I am making this up, but I'm not. When I was taking Greenwick home yesterday, we came to an intersection where there are two clearly marked lanes, one for left turns, one for right. Some asshole was smack in the middle blocking both lanes and preventing us doing a right turn on red. I glanced down, and the license plate was from Alberta. I live in the States, y'all. Yes, we're close to the border, but we are just South of Vancouver, so while we get a lot of Canadians, they are mostly from BC. It was like someone had deliberately driven here to reenact a classic Canadian regional stereotype humor moment.

Date: 2013-04-01 12:38 pm (UTC)They are extremely racist, homophobic and transphobic.
Their harassment and bullying and lies recently drove a transwoman to death and they are still employing the writer who wrote that article. And there's just countless numbers of fucked up, inhumane things that they do. Please don't link to them, they really do not need the visitors. They're sickening and despicable. If you must link to their articles please use a mirror-site so they don't actually get any ad revenue, or better yet find articles on a more respectable site.

Date: 2013-04-01 06:42 pm (UTC)I know they do write some interesting articles on archaelogy.
It's just the thought of any more traffic going to them makes me feel sick. The Daily Mail, also called the Daily Fail or Daily Heil is really bad. We do have a lot of bad newspapers but they're the one that a lot of non-Brits seem to think are respectable when they're just a tabloid that posts the most horrendous vile filth in the name of news.
