I believe people should not sign up to do a job and then refuse to do it.
However, supreme court is consistently siding with Christians refusing services to Queer people. They literally just decided that the law against discrimination is trumped by the right to discriminate in the 303 Creative case.
I have a nasty suspicion that they will agree health care providers are allowed to let us die if they discriminator is Christian. After all, they are happy to let people who are pregnant bleed to death in front of hospitals or die of sepsis according to the Dobbs Decision.
I’d love to be wrong, I really would, but I don’t think we should bet our lives on SCOTUS deciding that Christian Pharmacists and doctors and EMT’s aren’t allowed to deny us care and make us die for their religion. After all they have decided pregnant people regardless of faith or lake their of should be forced by the state to die for it.

* Meds Update: My notorious super sensitivity to drugs is possibly working in my favour for once. After the first two nights I was able to adjust to the bits of side effects. It very much is working. sub-clinical my ambiguous ass. I notice it's kicked in because it peels out about a third of the pain. I get about eight ours of prime relief and about four hours of lesser coverage. I am considering letting them scale up with the second pill to cover sleep. I'm worried about side effects scaling up too to something I can't handle still, but we'll see when we get there.
* The car is a good news/bad news situation. I was legitimately scared it was going to be the transmission this time, which is a death sentence for the car. I am disabled. I need this car for transport. There is no chance of me saving up the kind of money I'd need for a new used car.
It was not the transmission. It was, get this, the speed sensor. Which needed replacing. I have no idea why the speed sensor going wonky was messing the gear lights. Let us hope that's not a separate problem. In any case, the parts and labor was $250. They know me and the guy running it is a sweetheart, so they let me down pay what I had which was the fifty dollars I'd intended for gas and a birthday present for my sister. all I have left in my account is just enough to cover car insurance auto withdraw. I can't touch it or I get cascading overdraft fees so that's right out. This leaves two hundred I still will need to pay them.
I know, it's asking a lot. This is four total car repairs between me and squirrel in three months and y'all bought me a replacement stove last summer when mine went kaput, but here we are again.:

I believe people should not sign up to do a job and then refuse to do it.
However, supreme court is consistently siding with Christians refusing services to Queer people. They literally just decided that the law against discrimination is trumped by the right to discriminate in the 303 Creative case.
I have a nasty suspicion that they will agree health care providers are allowed to let us die if they discriminator is Christian. After all, they are happy to let people who are pregnant bleed to death in front of hospitals or die of sepsis according to the Dobbs Decision.
I’d love to be wrong, I really would, but I don’t think we should bet our lives on SCOTUS deciding that Christian Pharmacists and doctors and EMT’s aren’t allowed to deny us care and make us die for their religion. After all they have decided pregnant people regardless of faith or lake their of should be forced by the state to die for it.

* Meds Update: My notorious super sensitivity to drugs is possibly working in my favour for once. After the first two nights I was able to adjust to the bits of side effects. It very much is working. sub-clinical my ambiguous ass. I notice it's kicked in because it peels out about a third of the pain. I get about eight ours of prime relief and about four hours of lesser coverage. I am considering letting them scale up with the second pill to cover sleep. I'm worried about side effects scaling up too to something I can't handle still, but we'll see when we get there.
* The car is a good news/bad news situation. I was legitimately scared it was going to be the transmission this time, which is a death sentence for the car. I am disabled. I need this car for transport. There is no chance of me saving up the kind of money I'd need for a new used car.
It was not the transmission. It was, get this, the speed sensor. Which needed replacing. I have no idea why the speed sensor going wonky was messing the gear lights. Let us hope that's not a separate problem. In any case, the parts and labor was $250. They know me and the guy running it is a sweetheart, so they let me down pay what I had which was the fifty dollars I'd intended for gas and a birthday present for my sister. all I have left in my account is just enough to cover car insurance auto withdraw. I can't touch it or I get cascading overdraft fees so that's right out. This leaves two hundred I still will need to pay them.
I know, it's asking a lot. This is four total car repairs between me and squirrel in three months and y'all bought me a replacement stove last summer when mine went kaput, but here we are again.:
