* None of the things I unearthed turned out to be real bandages. A kind friend is sending me some, but until they get here, I fell back on a nasty expedient. I need something to cover the wounds while I sleep, to keep the medicine in and to prevent further injury. The doctor had said one can tape cellophane on in an emergency. I figured that'd keep things from sticking to it and the medicine and scabs from rubbing off. I layered a not bandage over it for padding. the cats can tell I'm injured, but they are small nervous animals with brains the size of walnuts and a habit of walking over me with pointy feet when I'm lying down. It was not pleasant. The plastic wrap doesn't breathe and is hot. I'll do it again when I sleep, as the particularly bad patch looked a little better when I woke. I can't wait for the proper pads to get here.
