* All the fish were fine when I fed them yesterday, but at bed time I discovered the littlest Chinese butterfly suckermouth was belly up. I went to bed wondering if they'd all be dead by morning. At feeding time today, the blue platys tank one was lively and looking healthy. I could not find the one with the dead tank mate. A couple of hours later I found it alive, but I haven't been able to get a good look to see if it appears healthy. Fingers crossed that the little one just couldn't handle the transfer stress, and the two larger ones were more hearty. I don't want to lose them. Look, I think they are beautiful and I've never had much luck with them. I want this to work out and I hate the thought that I might be a fish murderer.
* Love it or hate it, there is some beautiful writing going on in the Newsroom. That line, "It's a person! A Doctor pronounces her dead, not the news." Damn.
