Fun fact: Post Concussive Syndrome was my original diagnosis, back after I was attacked at work when I was sixteen because one of my boyfriends was jealous our other boyfriend liked me better. (I am not kidding when I say I had a wild, wild, life before I got to sick in my thirties). It was both weird and exciting to see PCS referenced on TV at all, let alone their being a character who has it, since I've literal never heard it mentioned anywhere that I can remember after we moved on to the second diagnosis. I wasn't sure if it was a thing anymore even, or one of those syndromes that gets migrated into some other diagnosis category when more is known. Anyway, PSC is why I had a Doctor's note that let me break dress code by wearing shades for the last half of high School whenever I liked. The PSC diagnosis may have been incorrect, but strong light did give me terrible headaches and I was often in a stunning amount of pain, particularly senior year. (Strong light still hurts, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was).
Also, I totally guessed the final twist before it happened. It just Made Sense.
