* Friday I stayed up to mail eBays/run errands with Squirrel, so I needed to sleep in. The news firehouse ate me all night. Saturday I spent all night and evening doing imp lot prep. I am exhausted and ended up eating the inevitable perfume oil towards the end. I finished about 5:45 AM, and when I wake, I have the next imp lot prep step, plus setting up ebays to post Monday, plus all the things I didn't do this weekend because ebay. Sigh.

Me: This is very '80's. How did I not see this at some point? Let's see, it has full on goth characters and I would have seen it if it was released while I was in high School, so '89 or '90 at the latest as there's no one wearing full on early '90's clothes.

Later: This is quite possibly the worst dorky white person rap I’ve ever seen, and the rock is almost as bad. I say almost as it’s not possible to be as embarrassingly awful as the white guy vampire rap, though clearly they tried to reach that low bar.
Even later: Really? This whole scenario was basically a shaggy dog story type set up for a mildly racy...joke is the wrong word. to be a joke it needs to actually be funny.

It keeps the teenagers off the streets at times when they are least supervised. districts that tried switching the late elementary start with the super early high school start found lower rates of both vandalism and teen pregnancy. just saying. It gave the teens an extra hour of sleep, plus one less hour to get into mischief. Add sports on after, like my school did, and you lose the entire space between school and family dinner.
