They always look vaguely uncomfortable when I'm like "Yeah, would you like me to pull out the Latin fart jokes I translated for class in 10th grade? Because I will. The main point of the plot is that rape is totally okay as long as you marry the girl after and steal her father's money. Well, and you're young and handsome and the father is a grumpy miser who likes prostitutes." or "Here's where Aristophanes makes a joke that we're /preeetty/ sure is talking about some method of masturbating with a dildo but the cheese-grater reference in a little confusing. Oooh, and in this play he has the chorus threaten to poop on the audience!"
