* I am honestly struggling with how to talk about Trump's treason in deliberately betraying top secret classified information to the Russians in order to betray the ally that gave us the information and undermine the fight against Russia, but it's hours later and I still can't find a calm and sufficiently detailed way to talk about it. Trying has given me a massive headache. It's like a nightmare from which I can never seem to wake.
The fact that he has not been impeached is proof the Republicans have no patriotism and all and give no fucks for the security of American citizens.

* Scam alert: I was awakened about 20 infuriating minutes before the alarm by an obvious scammer. This ploy was only slightly less transparent than the folks that woke me up every hour to insist they were apple tech support with a security alert. I have never owned an apple product of any kind. My sister got a IIGS from Make a Wish in the '80's and before I got my first computer at some point during my second college (I think my last year undergrad?) I used school apples or the apples of friends on occasion, but I have literally never owned anything by apple personally. That was the day I learned to block numbers. I had to block four of them to put an end to it. Today's scam identified herself as some company I never heard of followed by, "This is not a sales call. We are contacting you because you expressed interest in weight loss..." I snapped, "No. I didn't. This is a sales call." I hung up and blocked her. Background noise suggested a call center, so i suspect a lot of people are getting them, and I can imagine someone being tricked into thinking they had contacted some company, likely online, or gave a number at some sales thing, or by phone at some point and forgotten. I know I haven't though. It's as out of character as me expressing and interest in pork products. Anyway, watch out for these folks and the apple tech support folks.
In other news: Monday was forage, plus helping a friend haul things, plus a couple errands, one of which failed miserably. I barely made it back in time to run the Search for dolphins on GoB, so I was taking care of plants, putting away groceries etc.between poses the first hour or so. the bread I had with emergency soup was too salty, and thus made me queasy as salt is apt to do when I'm not sodium deficient. (I know, I am a bad American. I think Mayonnaise is disgusting and salt, apple pie, and hot dogs make me literally ill in the may have to camp in the bathroom if I don't take the anti-nausea pills fast enough, and will be sick for two days in the case of pork poisoning.) I HATE throwing away perfectly good food, but I only ate half and even after the anti-nasea drug kicked in I couldn't bare the thought of eating any of it, say, tomorrow.
The dolphins went well though, even though there were only four of us and we did some more logger tool testing and we think the kinks are out of the system. This are progressing well and it's nice to see multiple plot threads playing off each other. We do the Fair Wednesday evening with the arts, crafts, and baking contests, which usually goes peculiar places.
We are getting inspected this week. Normally, I'd have been focusing on the kitchen, but I really needed to break down the 30 gallon and that is a major mutli-day project. The smell of a dead tank is not peasant and I'd rather have less work done in the kitchen and have the tank sorted than the opposite. I managed to squeeze in more of that after GoB and start on the area between my desk and squirrel's door where things get knocked off my work area or dragged out of squirrel's room. Call that 2/3 done, with the long term project still untouched. I really need to finish the tank and the little liminal area before Wednesday. They may not hit us 'til Thursday, in which case kitchen, but I can't with the bowls of dirt everywhere and the precariously balanced tank, so that has to get done.
