gwydion* Betsy DeVos is in, despite being impressively ignorant and being in favour of destroying Public Schools.
* They are censuring Elizabeth Warren for impugning Jeff Sessions by reading Coretta Scott King's letter from his last confirmation hearing in which Republicans found him too racist for the Federal judiciary into the current congressional record as part of his confirmation hearing for Attorney General. True things that are pertinent to his fitness to serve are being considered a slur, basically. If the truth is an insult, isn't that rather disqualifying? How can they hold fair hearings if evidence is barred on the grounds that it that shows he is unfit? How does this make any sense at all?

Mitch McConnell, a white male Republican, wants to remind you that accurately pointing out evidence that someone is a racist is way more offensive than being one and taking away the right to vote from citizens of colour because of that racism.

* I am now too sick to sleep longer than 10 minutes or so at a stretch. As a result my mental acuity in not what it ought to be. I apologize for the ways this is likely to effect postings, but there is nothing much to be done about it. I can't afford to be sick, as I need to raising about $70.00 for annual car registration, plus I'm about $150.00 behind on other bills, which means I ought to be selling off more BPALs, but I am a germ factory right now and no way am I handling oils like this. Grrr.
I am a couple hours in on the Black Sails Commentary, but I can't guarantee speed with my head the way it is.
I am officially sick enough that medicinal tea tastes really good, and I am longing for magic soup because the queasy would be worth it to be able to lie down and breath without interruption.
