* Things are falling apart rapidly in South Sudan. There is random looting and killing going on. The army is defecting along tribal lines. They are having trouble getting foreign nationals out due to the chaos. The refugee camps were already stretched to breaking with fleeing Sudanese, and now South Sudanese are pouring into the camps in the hopes of escaping the violence. Something like 42 thousand civilians are hiding in UN compounds where there are insufficient provisions for them.

The World Food Program needs donations: https://give.wfp.org/?step=country&type=full

I had such high hopes after the partition for things to improve. Now? Damn. People are dying and it's all going to pieces.

* Sunday, Greenwick and I painted some furniture and took stuff across to the apartment again before game. Greenwick and Djinni gave me a book and some delightful hand made cat toys for the Beasties for Solstice. Thank you, guys!

* RP: Dick in a Box Edition:

The party left the main road to hick up into the mountains. They passed hamlets and villages and a variety of travellers until they were into very sparsely populated wilderness. Gwallog spotted something messing with the hanging food bag up in a tree. It turned out to be many small somethings with leaves for hats. They gave chase (except Fumiko). The tiny fae demanded their food. They got directions to the Tigress' territory in exchange. When they got back to camp, everything had been neatly arranged and they had an acorn each in their packs.

The directions were complicated and twisty, but did seem to skirt dangers they could see, so odds are the twists also led them away from hazards they couldn't see. They had strange dreams in one camp site, but those who kept their acorns close had pleasant ones. (Blake put his acorn aside and had a nightmare until Fumiko put it back in his hand). All but tiger emerged with new knowledge. They found the Tigress and she was Tiger's Mother. Tiger took her to the Tiger Sanctuary and the family was reunited.

They all met back up at the Caern in Basque Country where so many old characters retied to. The non-wolves were let loose in the kinfolk village to explore and perhaps spread their seed, while Blake was taken to meet the Sept. There he met legendary wolves and was initiated to prove he was mentally strong enough to hold the relic he was requesting. He was exposed to the Great Evil they kept out of the world and resisted it. He was offered one of two Reliquaries. He chose the box that turned out to contain Osiris' penis, rather than his left hand. Blake showed the others his penis, but resisted waving it about or touching people with it. When he prodded it, it had power that made his finger tingle. According to the Astrids it was a relic of fertility, healing, and resurrection. A variety of jokes were made. Tiger learned where human babies came from and Fumiko learned to speak Garou from legendary Lupus Chase the Wind.
