* Howie Mandel's stand up comedy wasn't to my taste back in the day, and I watch neither game shows nor reality shows, but I admire him tremendously for how open he is about his mental illnesses and medication. I wish we were an enlightened society that understood that this stuff can happen to anyone, but we aren't. I love that he's out in the world being popular and productive, while being open about the ways he struggles on a daily basis.
