gwydion* Approximately 60 people were murdered by the Syrian government today.
* The 14 year old African American girl homeland Security deported to Columbia is on her way home.
* All the election news made me stabby, so I'm taking the day off from it, except to say Ron Paul has officially denounced the disgusting Manchurian candidate ad I mentioned yesterday. Apparently there are limits. Good to know.
* Job figures are up for the last quarter of 2011. The question is will the recovery hold.
* That was miserable and exhausting, but it could have been worse. At least it did not rain and my legs only collapsed once (not counting the one after I got home), luckily where I had plenty of things I could grab. It did take five exhausting hours, much of it either smelly or cold.
* I saw a beautiful young man on the bus today. Mid-twenties, vintage fitted tan trench coat, vintage glasses, an '80's asymmetrical cut I fondly remember from a boy I dated briefly in the fall of '86. He looked like he'd stepped off a British new wave album cover. Exquisite. I did not stare, but I admit to enjoying him aesthetically every time I glanced that way.
