gwydion* The nice man who lent us his truck is letting us keep it longer. This is good, since otherwise, we'd be essentially carless until the second week of December or so. There is no way Squirrel's car could manage my dentist, for example. So, yay!
Nearly everything is across now, it's some kitchen stuff, odds and ends, and the cleaning supplies now. Greenwick and I will take a crack at it tomorrow. Unpacking feels sisyphisian, as every time I get a bunch of stuff cleared, more stuff arrives.
Mache had pretty much gotten over the move by the night before the furniture came. The movers were rather a set back, but I woke up with her in my bed, and she's behaviorally nearly normal now. LM spends several hours at a stretch sitting on top of the box maze and howling for Squirrel, mostly when he is trying to sleep. The boys are essentially adjusted. Hector's back to wanting me to hand feed him most of the time, which is neurotic normal if that makes sense. The Butt shows no sign that he remembers things having been any other way, which is the upside of his intellectual challenge.
I had plans for massive kitchen unpacking, but I only did a little before Mahe decided I needed to sit so she could use my foot for a pillow. I hadn't the heart to deny her.
