* I'm more than a week late, but there's a North Korea update here: http://greenwick.livejournal.com/88708.html

* surreality found, "Santorum Tells Sick Kid Not To Complain About $1 Million Drug Costs Because People Pay $900 For An iPad:" http://thinkprogress.org/health/2012/02/03/417657/santorum-tells-sick-kid-not-to-complain-about-1-million-drug-costs-because-people-pay-900-for-an-ipad/?mobile=nc

* Mephron found, this lovely response to Chris Christie's insistence the civil rights of minorities should be an issue up for popular vote rather than inalienable right. Every time I see Mayor Cory Booker of Newark he manages to impress the hell out of me and I wish him a long an illustrious political career: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4Z7tl7Vy8U

* May I also thank Rev. Barber of the NC NAACP for standing up for marriage equality on the grounds enshrining inequality into law is always a bad idea.

* While I'm thinking of it, where is the 21st century Nelson Rockafeller to call the party out on it's bullshit? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM0rvez7ugk

* Melissa Harris Perry quote of the week, regarding the republican anti-woman agenda vs. claims that they care about jobs, "Jobs are certainly not in my uterus."

* What have I been reading/watching? I've been reading Deadline and Ash. I have lots of thoughts, but none I can put into words just now. It turns out my library got a whole lot more Classic Who stuff in, so I ordered some Sylvester McCoy. These hit the US while I was at my first college and cut off from movies/TV/media while being a philosophy monk. I think I must have seen a little when home on holiday as I have a vague memory of liking Ace, but I doubt I saw more than one story line, if that. I'm early on, so it's Mel, not Ace just now. Also, McCoy is still finding his feet as the Doctor, so I have no strong opinion just yet. At this point, I am mostly trying to decide if the question mark vest is clever or too on the nose. I have nothing clever to say just yet, hence the quiet.
