gwydion* I hate that thing where I'm exhausted and generally crappy but can't sleep. Gah.
* Yes, I saw parts of the president's speech, but was obviously not able to see all of it.
If there is one thing to take away, it's that the Ryan plan calls for an increase in the deficit while demanding that it takes 33 Senior citizens paying $6000 dollars a year out of that $692.00 a month social security check to give each millionaire or billionaire their share of the yet another trillion dollar tax cut that is only going for the likes of Donald Trump and John McCain. Yes, I get that Trump would love to buy another casino and John McCain likely thinks the seven mansions he owns are not nearly enough, but is it really fair to kill old people to do it?
I get that the only "people" who count for the Republican politicians are corporations and billionaires, but it seems to me crazy that they other 90% of us don't rise up an vote them out of office out of either patriotism or self preservation. We need jobs, health care, and economic growth, not deliberately slowing economic growth, deliberately dramatically increasing health care costs, and a new great Depression.
* During the long horrible influenza last month, the flies came back. Last night, I think I figured out where they are coming from, and got Squirrel to try to stop that happening in future. I have hopes that when I kill this batch it will be sorted. Its a slow process as the cats and fish mean we can't just fumigate.
* Listening to a news update on the Long Island serial killer situation, I thought,"Wow, that sounds like two killers using the same stretch of coast as a dumping ground." A bit later, the law enforcement guy said he was pretty sure it was two serial killers taking advantage of how deserted that stretch of coast was in Winter to dump bodies. Plus, the missing woman last seen being chased by a human predator and begging for help may have been grabbed by a third one. Ugh.
* I'm doing little bursts of typing while up for meds. I am really lucky I have so many anti-nausea drugs ready to hand. Hector keeps howling and I can't fix it, as all he really wants is for me to stop smelling and moving funny and follow his schedule.
* I'm going to be way behind on the Internet until I'm more functional. If it's important, PM or email.
