gwydionI'm alive.
With this bandaging, I'm expecting my hand to be more functional than I thought it would be in the near future, but right now, all I can use my dominant hand for is pinchers. Typing is really unpleasant just now.
As surgeries go, this was the least stressful on my system of the six I've had.
The drugs they gave me were a lot stronger than I like, and I am planning on cutting dose as soon as this wears off. I am likely to be some degree of stoned for the next week.
The cats are seriously alarmed by the smell of the bandages and are in high drama mode. I'm pretty sure Hector's escalation over the last few days was him seeing us cleaning and moving things around plus picking up tension and deciding I was going on a trip or moving, with LM, who is the least secure after him picking up on his stress and panicking. They were all so relieved when I came home after only an afternoon.
Squirrel's fed the fish and dosed the cats for me, and once I sign of, I'm moving to the sofa with food I can pick at, juice, and the remotes.
