* We packed up some things and we started in on the cleaning. I can't handle fumes, so I spent most of my time hand scrubbing carpet stains. Greenwick has been doing more fume intensive things like bathroom and kitchen. The vacuum is broken, and Squirrel hid the truck keys, so I couldn't see if the vacuum fixing place was open Sundays. I said goodbye to the upstairs Goths, who congratulated me on escaping. They can't afford to leave, poor bastards.

Unpacking wise, I made more progress on the kitchen. (We have plates!). I also found the library books that needed to go back ASAP.

non-cooked potatoes generally go bad if kept in the refrigerator. Ideally they should be kept somewhere dryish, dark, and cool, but not cold with some air flow. Basically roomtemp in a covered basket or a container with holes in it.

I generally keep them in a drawer, but space is at a premium.

Having checked my sources... basically they're likely to mold more quickly in the refrigerator. So if you're using them quickly, you can do it. Otherwise... yeah, basket or something on counter and put a cloth over it.
