Mar. 18th, 2017 05:06 pm* 45 Fucks Up Our Relationship with Great Brittan and Germany as Part of his Ten year Racist Vendetta against President Obama. Today 45 decided to not only create an international incident with GB by repeatedly lying that they gave him the information he made up when he decided to pretend that President Obama somehow personally wire tapped him even though President Obama clearly has not, but not content with that dragged Angela Merkle, current leader of the free world now that we've abdicated all attempts to play a responsible international role by putting a toddler in the oval office and firing all the upper career diplomats at the state Department who were competent and knew how to diplomat, into this persecution fantasy 45 had dreamed up and insists on clinging to as part of his decade of nonsense aimed at persecuting President Obama that started with his refusal to accept that President Obama's birth certificate wasn't valid on the grounds that Obama is black and therefore couldn't have a valid birth certificate or be a U S citizen.
Angela Merkle’s side eyes while 45 was using her as a prop for his nonsense were priceless though. Did I mention he also decided to start out by insulting her by refusing to shake her hand? Because that happened too.

* So remember the horrible combination infection I had in February that recolonized my lungs? It has been getting gradually worse, to the point of it causing me rather extreme distress that woke me up at five this morning. I am suspecting they'll be wanting to sample it Monday, at which point we can use targeted antibiotics and probably solve it. I just need to hold on. Squirrel has been horribly sick all week, which turns out to be unrelated as he forgot his flu shot and I did not. His strain is very specifically still well covered by my shot. He's quarantined in his room and not going to work, obviously. The poor thing is basically living on Popsicles and crystal lite.
The fever, pain, and coughing not withstanding, I had to go out today, so I masked up. My keys are missing; I am suspecting Tavy dragged them off somewhere. I used the back ups, but the shapes are different and I can't get back into the building on my own easily. It was pouring down rain, because of course it was. There was no parking anywhere near where I had to go anywhere I had to go, which was extra ugly given my lungs are now lacy and making that annoying wheezy whine when I walk. Okay, technically there was a handy capped spot right where I needed to go, but the construction workers had "helpfully" filled it with their crap, because of course they did. I gave up after three passes of a several block radius as we were low on gas. I did manage to sort things out in under five minutes when I did find parking at the library (three passes. I was about to give up and go see if there was parking at the courthouse or my Doctor' as they called me specifically to get me to come down today over a mix up that somehow couldn't wait until Monday when there would be more parking an I'll like be down there with my sample anyway. Sigh). Having the wrong keys meant no self check out. Of course. I did manage to find parking a block away at the other minor errand on the way back, then went to use my ACE coupon for some ant traps, glue, and garden stuff I'm going to need shortly. Only the credit card was dead, because the replacement was delayed in the mail, because of course it was. (I called when I got home and it should be sorted). I got home, fever up and coughing chunks again to discover Tavy had puked my bed. Of course he had. I surprised him with the medicine finger and started clean up. (I'll have to change sheets but I needed food, rest, and a lung treatment, as a sheet change is a big exhausting project, since I'm no longer strong enough to lift the mattress properly.) There are things I've been doing bit by bit to sort out the garden for Spring. Today I had some prepping, and to sort out the strawberries before the Spring growth got much further along. Various other perennials needed some degree of the same, etc.. I did a little light weeding, during which I discovered more lettuce starts, so I had to do a little rearranging so they could get better light. (That's the third container with greens in it so far). Various sprouts and things needed checking, etc..
Then I started the lunch preheat, fended off Tavy's "help" which mostly consisted of climbing me like a jungle gym, prewashed dishes, and while lunch cooked set up four tins of aquarium soil to be ready to autoclave once lunch had vacated the oven. They are still in there as I simply hadn't the energy to decant them and do another round. I thought of a better arrangement for perennials while Tavy and I were watching ice skating during lung time, so I had to quick do that and wash up after for... I've lost count. At least the fever's a little lower and Tavy is napping as I type this.
