gwydion* Green Lantern looked boring in the previews, and everything I'm hearing makes me think i want nothing to do with it. if they'd done a John Stewart version, I'd be tempted, but this looks like reheated oatmeal to me. No thanks.

* Clarence Thomas continues to take "gifts" that would be considered bribes if he were any other sort of judge. The lift of bribes is way to long to list. Unfortunately, it never occurred to the founding fathers that a supreme court judge could be so wildly and openly corrupt, so there is no means of stopping it.
* There is always a shortage of blood, but it's particularly bad this summer in North America. The Red Cross is begging for blood donations. I encourage those of you who can legally give to do so. I suggest goggling for local blood drives or red cross donation spots.
* I managed to swim today, but got hit with physical nastiness I'm suspecting is reaction to new meds combo, which makes me want to curl up in a ball and hide. (It's too specific to be a pathogen, if that makes sense. I'd me more all around icky if I were infected.) Food's being challenging and still no refill on the big anti-nausea drug. Gah.
