gwydion* Donald Trump is going all out on trying to counter and undermine President's foreign policy even though for the last two hundred plus years we've had a policy of one President at a time when it comes to this most delicate of things, and even though he is to lazy and willfully ignorant to take his daily foreign policy briefings and clearly knows nothing about all the diplomatic situations he's been stomping all over for his amusement. It's infuriating.
Seriously, Peter III of Russia all over again (only with a raging boner for Putin instead of Fredrick the Great of Prussia), only Peter waited for the previous Empress to die before completely borking several generations of diplomacy, treaties, and reforms. I keep thinking of all the damage he did in six months without access to modern things like telephones and twitter. I keep imagining what Trump will do with four years and all those things.
* I still don't understand Trump's reasoning behind wanting to restart the Nuclear arms race. I've lived the first 20ish years of my life expecting to die in a nuclear war at some point and most of my adult life not having that expectation. The latter is far better than the former. When he calls for a nuclear arms race is he wanting say, India, Pakistan, and China to be racing us by dramatically increasing their missile count, or is he wanting to encourage countries like north Korea and Iran to build and threaten us with bombs? Why would even a toddler think this is a good idea? Why did the Republican Party en masse decide in cold blood that a man with the self control of a two year old be allowed to have his finger on the button? I honestly don't understand the logic of any of this, and Trump's surrogates refusing to admit he said he wants to do this is not helping. If he's going to threaten us all with death by mushroom cloud, I think he needs to make a proper policy speech explaining the details.

I nearly fell a few times, saved only by the crutch and proximity to bench and wall. (A controlled fall onto a bench is better than a hard uncontrolled landing on pavement, embarrassing, but not apt to do real damage).
