* So Sunday we helped an acquaintance move. It very much needed doing. A friend financed it, and she and another friend did the carrying. I was signed up as wheel man. I guarded the truck and tetrised things in as they arrived, and on the other end pointed them all to the edge for easy carrying by the able bodied. I did this without my pain meds as I was too ill for the non-narcotics starting Thursdayish, and I don't take the emergency prescription narcotics if there is even a slight chance i might need to drive in the next eight hours. So picture a rusty tin man with every joint from mid spine down in excruciating pain carrying boxes and scooting furniture about. We did get the two loads across in the four hours we had, but there was a whole bunch of ferrying about in my car and putting furniture back together, so I was out of the house from about 11-7. Today was forage, Doctor, errands, etc. I also squeezed in another phone bureaucracy thing. I'm about half way through the phone bureaucracy list but also have a paper bureaucracy stack I've been too ill to touch.
I'm scheduled for GoB tomorrow and Doctor Thursday. Somewhere in here I also need to make and mail cookies to what little is left of my family. All I really want to do is go back to bed, but Monday is a heavy adulting day, and so onward.
