* "Dance of the Vampires - 17 Total Eclipse (German with Subs & Translation):"
* I needed to go into my room after dinner yesterday to do some small tasks best done on my bed. (My bed takes up most of my room and nearly everything is set up with the expectation of me being in bed when I need to access whatever.) Tavy was in there for his evening nap, and this is normally a situation wherein he'd be all, "Fight Me, Bro!" Instead, he looked me over with a serious expression and rolled over so I could get in without risking a mauling. We had a nice pettin, then he left me alone to do my pit of sorting and organizing. Our wee little Tavy is growing up.
Of course this is the same Tiny Terror who stole and savaged a library book two days ago, so...
* On the upside, we are rescued financially in the near term. Thank you, tax benefactor!
* I spent last night and this evening trying to sew the last decently textured fitted sheet back together of and on. I had planned more post engagement RP, but a few poses in, I started spasming, so I did the basic medical things and had a long bath. Foolishly, I thought, "I'm only two hours or so post lung dose, I can likely just go to bed. When i got up, i finished the hand sewing and remade the bed. Then there were rounds of laundry. I came out, made and ate a salad, planning to lung before making the rest of dinner and tackling dishes. It was at this point, I discovered the lung machine dead. There followed a big drama as I searched for the number for the lung machine people. They did call back as I was making the rest of dinner and rescue comes tomorrow, but I must paste myself together until then. Ugh. I'm not convinced I can handle dishes at this point as I'm already on the down slope of function.
* I was upset enough when we lost the Melissa Harris-Perry show. Now we are losing the Nightly Show. Damn. I really feel like we need Wilmore to help carry us through this nightmare election.
