* I've been watching the Trump surrogates defending Trump's call for political assassination of either Hillary Clinton or her judicial nominees if she wins the election. They basically boil down to either 1. Trump is too incompetent to know what he is doing or be held responsible for his actions, or 2. Trump is so lacking in judgement it wouldn't occur to him that it is a dangerous and terrible idea to make a "joke" that sounds exactly like a call to assassinate his opponent in a room full of riled up followers who have on previous occasions acted on his call to beat up protestors. O.o Shouldn't either be disqualifying traits to be President of the United States? Just saying.

* Props to the Brazilian rider who got thrown over a jump, did a somersault, and coolly walked over to put the jump back together. He was eliminated, but it was very BAMF.
I have come to loathe that male commentator. His mocking of the Japanese rider during cross country did not endear him to me, and the veiled racist comment about delays in the jumping was the final nail in the coffin a far as I am concerned. Yes, it's mild compared to the racism and sexism from other commentators in other events, but one would think that would make him more careful, not less. Eeew.
