* I hate that this is a thing that still needs saying in the 21st century: It is incredibly dehumanizing to call a human being "it." Don't do it. I've written a lot about the way that pronoun gets used against trans people, often as a prelude to physical violence. Please, please, please don't use "it" to describe anybody. Don't use "it" for people with physical differences. Don't use "it" for people with gender expressions different than you. Don't use "it" for people with intellectual differences. Never use "it" to describe a human being. Don't be that asshole. Calling people "it" hurts people, poisons the culture, and emboldens discrimination, violence, and murder.

Me watching last night's episode: That was criminal waste of Ian McShane. Sigh. I did like Lynna Mormont and they had some nice moments, but I am so furious and disgusted by some other things, particularly the mess they made of the Iron islands, that it's hard to enjoy anything.
