* Time is funny when one ages. Tonight, I was watching a film I saw only one other time. The tape was rented from a video store that has gone the way of video rental places generally. The tape itself is likely in a land fill. The bed we were lying in still exists. Squirrel sleeps in it now. The building his tiny apartment was in has been demolished. The man that was beside me is now ashes. I can still remember the scent of the apartment and the chill over that winter break, and the video game we took turns playing on his computer that month, and the plot I was running in my table top game as a vacation filler for the half of the party still in town.... At least the film aged well.
