* As the process of shaking around the good TV by transporting it in the car fixed it apparently magically, and the temporary set up for the free emergency TV was really stressing out the furniture to the point i started anticipating an accident, we spent a couple of hours today on setting things back up (and other things needing doing in the common areas.) Squirrel was a champ, BTW, and figured out how to get things working with the TV situation, plus took out trash/recycling, and changed the living room breast lamp. I have my closed captioning back and I can tight control the volume from my desk at night again. The emergency TV is too big to store, yet I can't lose it, as the bedroom TV is giving signs of approaching senescence. (It involves moving furniture if I want old TV out, plus I lose closed captioning and the remote control when it goes, so it's a major project I'd rather put off until Bedroom TV is finished for real). So I'm going to see if emergency TV can live as a coffee table extension for now. This and things like dishes and cleaning the kitchen pretty much ate up today, so apologies for sparseness of content and absence on Game of Bones.

* I always end up screaming at the TV during "Join or Die," but the Founding fathers one was particularly frustrating. No one made any of the good arguments for pretty much any of them except the anti-Jefferson argument, which was not articulated as well as I like, but at least there. I am lucky I didn't have an aneurysm. That show turns me into a betta fish. This must be what it feels like to be a sports fan.
