* It will cost 1.5 billion dollars approximately to fix the damage to the pipes in Flint, not counting the cost of bringing in water etc., and the massive unconscionable human cost in literal brain damage the lead has likely done to a generation of children there. The Republicans did this terrible thing to save $100.00 a day. The cost to special ed and disability payments for a whole city is drastically higher. I do not understand how this counts as "saving money" but Republicans insist it is so.
