* I was meant to go order soup today and pick up protein, but I decided I did not want to deal with weather. it was a good decision as I woke up sick again. I still made myself take down the big Halloween tree, mend things, and put everything away, because I really need my livingroom back. Things need cleaning and putting back into the window area still, but that is for another day. The livingroom is so DARK without the Gothmas lights. Hector is particularly agitated today and labour intensive. He’s been trying to steal food and throwing tantrums because he wants people food and not cat food in between demands for cuddles or for me to sit or lie in a particular place so he can sit on me there and ignore me. I’m hoping having the boxes away will help him calm down. (Boxes=Moving and it’s extra fraught for Hector as one time his humans moved and did not bring him when he was small and abandonment issues are fundamental to his character. It doesn’t matter that I do the Gothmas things every year. It doesn’t matter that every time I moved I brought him with, generally very, very early in the process. He’s a cat and that terrible thing happened that time when he was small and he nearly died, so boxes make him nervous.) so I’m coddling him and doing what I can to keep him calm.
