gwydion* Meanwhile in Iraq and Syria, ISIS continues to lose ground particularly to the Kurds (who just took back the city that so many Yasidi fled as a result of ISIS slavers), but also to the Iraqi military which is actually fighting now. In response to the bombing of their passenger plane, Russia is actually bombing ISIS.
BTW, a no Fly zone makes zero sense as ISIS isn't using planes. The only purpose would be shooting down Russian planes, which is right at the top of the list of bad ideas Republicans have had lately. It's also very expensive and would require a boots on the ground invasion.
* There were people of 19 nationalities confirmed amoung the dead in Paris. That neighborhood is very cosmopolitan, and there is reason to think it was chosen in part because so many moderate and secular Muslims live there and so would be amoung those in the crowds under attack. It is thought that particular concert hall was targeted in part because it was until recently Jewish owned and under frequent threat from violent extremists. Two men are still being sought: an attacker and a man who may have been an accomplice.

Several Republican presidential candidates are demanding we give the Terrorists what they want and ignore the 1st amendment and break international treaties and deny moderate Muslim refugees fleeing violent terrorism and persecution from ISIS as are a large number of Republican governors and one Democratic one.

Also, we are still having intermittent internet outages. Really all I want to do is go back to bed, but there is stuff needing doing before I can do that. Tomorrow is forage, so no rest then and Thursday is podcast so no rest then. I have a thing I need to do Friday.... I'm so fucking tired and I really should have set up the ebay batch weeks ago for the sake of the fish. Fuck!
