* The young girl brutally beaten by a police officer was being arrested for looking at her phone. As her arm hit the officers while he was flinging her around as part of the beating there is talk of charging her for assault. The officer is facing multiple law suits for bias and physical abuse of students of colour from previous incidents, but the authorities claim since he's dating a black woman clearly that's all false. *side eye* The other student was arrested for filming the child abuse and asking him to stop beating her. She is now facing criminal charges as filming an officer in the commission of a violent crime is illegal in South Carolina apparently.

This week was an extended parody of Huckleberry Finn. It does not even a little excuse the use of Dredd Scott, but I suspect that’s why they included it. Skeesy and Scetchy are the Duke and the King. 10K is Huck. I honestly don’t know how to respond to them doing this given the complicated issues around Huck Finn and race and the ham handed comedic approach here, but I thought I’d mention as it’s such a iconically American material they are messing around with and it may not be as obvious what they are doing to someone not raised on Mark Twain. Are they trying to make some fucked up analogy about human slaves and zombies? If so it reads as incredibly racist.
I hate Skeesy and Shetchy too.
