gwydion* So it turns out the Ferguson police refused to let Micheal Brown have medical help after they shot him.
* There is an outbreak of Enterovirus D68 causing serious respiratory problems in children. (It is also a threat to folks with weakened immune systoms). It looks like a normal cold at first, but escalates to dangerous, could kill people levels of can't breath. If you have a child who is struggling to breath, for fuck's sake, get them to a hospital, just generally because that is good sense. It's a virus, so antibacterial sprays, etc.. aren't helpful. Do wash your hands frequently with soap and water, as you should be doing anyway.

* I was tired enough I made a stab at going to bed before midnight. I actually did get reasonable sleep despite hector screaming me awake every couple hours. This was lucky as the third round of sledgehammers to my bedroom wall started at 9AM and went on for or stretch of wall past one. I got some cleaning done and went to an afternoon appointment when ended up needing Squirrel to provide more documents, leaving everything still up in the air. Sigh. I am trying to decide if I can get away with leaving our plants out in the landscaping, or if I ought to drag them and the outdoor furniture back onto the patio tomorrow. I'm leaning towards leaving all where it is, to be honest.
I was supposed to do tarot, but am way too tired.
