gwydion* The West African Ebola outbreak has reached Senegal. Trials start next week on an experimental ebola vaccine. France is cancelling flights to Liberia, etc. British Airways was planning to lift their bans, but likely aren't.
* Russia is insisting that their tanks and troops assaulting Ukrainian forces in eastern Ukraine does not constitute an invasion, although I do not see how that is not pretty much a definition of an invasion. Apparently the Ukrainian army was doing too well, so the Russians are moving openly in hopes of turning the tide their way.
